Household cost analysis

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the cost of a house in the area of peripheral constructions and the effect of thermal insulation on energy consumption for heating and hot water. The theoretical part generally defines renewable energy sources, heat sources, thermal transmissions and structural losses, basics of valuation of construction works and supplies and overview of state subsidies. In the practical part are proposed composition of peripheral constructions, calculation of heat transfer coefficient of all designed perimeter structures and their subsequent evaluation. Furthermore, there is an estimated annual energy demand for heating and hot water and annual electricity consumption in the household. At the end of diploma thesis is a proposal of suitable energy sources and calculation of the return on investment in these sources.

Proposal heat sources for home heating

This bachelor’s thesis deals with heating and selection of appropriate heat sources for family houses. The first chapter describes heat sources used for heating by type of fuel. The second part is devoted to calculation of the energy balance and the amount of heat required for a particular object. According to the results, five possible options are selected. At the end, the economic evaluation of the selected heat sources are processed and the most suitable one is selected. The attachment provides floor plan, section, list of the elements (windows and front door) and also appearance of the house.

This bachelor thesis deals with heating and a proposal of heat source for a family house. The first chapter concerns various heat sources for heating. They're divided by the type of fuel and by the heating method. The second part introduces and describes the house concerned. It also presents calculations of heat losses and the total amount of thermal energy. Following chapter pictures different variants of heating. The last chapter deals with the economic aspect of opted sources for the specific family house.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of heating and water heating in a smaller apartment building in the village of Chlumětín in the Vysočina region. The aim is to design heat sources in two variants. The first variant is the classic heating with a gas boiler and hot water heating in the storage tank, which is heated by the same boiler. The second variant is more environmentally friendly heating using two air / water heat pumps and hot water heating is solved using solar collectors.

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is a proposal of a heat source for a specific house. The first part is a research of different heating technology. In the second part there is a shortlisting of heat sources for this specific house and then calculating of costs for the selected heating sources. These costs are calculated from heat losses of the object. After the economic comparison one source is selected, from which costs of heating are calculated with three versions of possible insulation of this house.

Comparing invest to save heating

This Bachelor’s Thesis is aimed at reducing the costs associated with the heating of family houses. A model house was selected for which its heat losses, annual heat consumption and heating costs were calculated. Then, an inventory of possible measures to improve energy performance of the model house was produced. Subsequently, some proposals were selected for which an economic assessment was made.

Design of the heat source of the local district heating system

The diploma thesis is focused on district heat supply, heat sources, machinery and safety equipment of boiler rooms. The main goal of the thesis is to modernize parts of the heat sources with the respective boiler room equipment in accordance with the latest available technology. The generated thermal energy is used for heating or hot water production for residential and non-residential buildings in the vicinity of the boiler room. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses in more detail on boiler rooms, specifically on heat energy sources, machinery and safety equipment of boiler rooms, system ventilation and combustion exhaust. The findings are applied in the design of the new boiler room layout. It is followed by a detailed description of the current state of the boiler room and heat networks. An essential part of the work is the assessment of layout of the current heat sources and the creation of a new design for the replacement of insufficient sources and related equipment. The last goal is an economic overview of the designed project solution.

Design of heating of station building

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the design of heating and hot water preparation of existing station building in the village Moravské Bránice. The building has two floors, a basement with a gabled roof. It describes the general division of heat sources, important concepts and principles. Furthermore, the issue of replacing existing unsuitable solid fuel boilers to various alternatives of heat sources. In the calculation part is elaborated complete design of the building heating and a design of hot water preparation. A technical report and drawing documentation is part of thesis.

This bachelor thesis deals with various heat sources for heating the family house. The first part of the thesis is a research, where the history of heating is summarized, energy sources and types of heating systems are divided and then traditional and unconventional heat sources used in domestic heating are compared. In the second part of this work are made designs of heat sources for heating a specific house. And in the end of the work is made an economic evaluation of the designs.
